Can the Core stand be used while freestanding?
Yes, you can use the Core stand as a freestanding unit. For added security, you can use one of our cable locks to secure the Core to a fixed object.
Can the Core Counter Stand be used on both counters and walls?
Yes, it mounts securely to either flat counters or walls.
Which Microsoft Surface models are compatible with the Apex Surface Enclosure?
It is compatible with Surface Pro 8, 9, 10, and 11 (13″), as well as Surface Go generations 1–4, depending on the selected enclosure.
Are the mounts individually keyed? If not, are there security features in place to prevent members of the public from purchasing a matching key and unlocking tablets that do not belong to them?
Yes, each mount is individually keyed with its own unique key for security. If you choose the Keyed Alike Upgrade, all of your enclosures can be opened with the same key for convenience, while still using a unique key combination. We also take security seriously when it comes to replacement keys. Members of the public cannot simply purchase a matching key to access your enclosures. Key requests are verified to help ensure that only authorized owners can obtain replacements, helping protect your tablets from unauthorized access or theft.
Can I buy replacement keys or locks?
Yes. You may order a replacement cylinder and key set, or order replacement keys through customer support.
Do you offer keyed‑alike or master‑key options?
Yes, the keyed‑alike upgrade lets one key open multiple enclosures; a master key is available on request for bulk customers.
